SYNCO D30 is a shotgun microphone designed for the use with cameras, camcorders, smartphones, recorders, laptops, tablets, and bodypack transmitters as a true source of audio.
A supercardioid polar pattern ensures that surrounding audio is minimized and the recording is focused on the subject in front of the camera. This is enhanced by the Acoustic Noise Canceling Array (ANCA) design which provides the possibility to better process sound waves and to reduce off-axis noise.
Filter and gain controls are easily accessible on the microphone. In addition to the native 20Hz-20KHz response, an optional low-cut filter at 75Hz is available, which will prevent low-end noises caused by airflow, shake, electrical current, and traffic. Below this control is the level setting. The -10dB attenuation is ideal for loud sound sources, such as interviews where the speaker is very close to the camera. The +15dB gain is designed for the use with DSLR, allowing the user to reduce the camera’s preamp level to effectively reduce the noise generated by the camera itself.
The overdrive protection system is a guarantee for undistorted sound. It protects the sound recording from distortion when it reaches the maximum sound pressure level of 124 dB SPL.
Camera mounted microphone D30 is powered by a chargeable lithium battery, providing 30-hours recording when the real-time audio monitoring is unemployed. Professional accessories such as shock mount, furry windscreen, Type-C to USB as well as 3.5mm TRS/TRRS cables are provided for easy specialized use.
